There’s no better way to welcome the Springtime than wandering through a colorful and fragrant garden! The Huntington’s Botanical Garden covers 120 acres and has many themed areas, such as the Desert Garden, the Rose Garden and Japanese Garden. The Huntington also has art galleries, a library, and a cafe and tea room.

The Huntington is near Pasadena, which is twelve miles northeast of downtown, and is accessible by the Metro Gold line and other bus lines. Admission is $23 on weekends, and $13 with a student ID.

Here is a tip! Every first Thursday of the month, The Huntington has a “Free Day.” These free tickets are released on the morning of the 1st. But they go fast!
